Thank you for your question! Milk spots are a natural occurrence during the minting process and may appear on some Canada 1 oz Silver Maple Leaf BU (Dates Our Choice) coins. However, coins minted by the Royal Canadian Mint after 2018 are coated with a proprietary technology called Mintshield, which significantly reduces the appearance of milk spots on the coin surface.
