Thank you for your question! Most Engelhard 1 oz silver rounds (including the Prospector design) measure about 38.8 mm in diameter. Because of that, a 38 mm capsule is usually too tight and likely won’t close properly, or could risk scraping the rim.
For Engelhard rounds, we recommend using a:
✔ 39 mm capsule (direct-fit style, if available)
That gives just enough clearance while still holding the round securely.
